We are searching for a dynamic employee who is wanting an exciting opportunity. This person must possess excellent communication skills both written and verbal. Understanding and maintaining confidentiality is crucial. This role requires the ability to physically and mentally work independently. This position works 32-36 hours per week and receives Full Benefits. This outstanding employee will be supervised by the Judge and Fire Chief.
On the Court side you will be responsible:
a. Recording and organizing all administrative tasks for the Court.
b. Provide support to the Judge, Town Prosecutor, Police Department and Public.
c. Required to maintain Court files and records.
d. Collect and record receipts for all fines.
e. Remit fines and fees due to the Town of Stevensville and Ravalli County Treasurer.
f. Respond to the public inquires pertaining to the Court.
On the Fire Side you will be responsible for:
a. Preparing purchase orders for the Chief.
b. Receive and codes invoices per Chiefs direction.
c. Prepare agenda and minutes for department meetings.
d. Maintain complete and accurate incident reports.
e. Maintain accurate files and records for the Fire Department.
f. Serves as a contact for volunteer workforce, preparing and filing quarterly and annual activity reports.
e. Perform clerical duties as assigned.
Must posses a valid State of Montana Drivers License and pass a comprehensive background investigation.
Three or more years of experience as a clerk or clerical support person.
Working knowledge of computers and electronic data/word processing: ability to type and produce documents accurately.
Considerable knowledge4 of all general office procedures including organization of riles.
