RFP for Towing Services

REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS TOWING COMPANY SERVICES

TOWN OF STEVENSVILLE, STEVENSVILLE, MT

The Town of Stevensville invites qualified towing companies to submit proposals for towing services.

The purpose of this process is to obtain competitive prices for towing services for the Town of Stevensville.  The towing company will provide services to the town through a two (2) year agreement.

Services that are requested are as follows:

• Removal of junk vehicles per town ordinance.
• Towing of abandoned vehicles.
• Towing of town owned vehicles (examples would include, inoperable vehicle, flat tire)
• Assisting in law enforcement needs.
• 24/7 towing of vehicles from town property.

Requesting the following:

• Proposals need to include hourly rates, base rates, and hours of availability for services.
• Please provide a list of towing capabilities, sizes and types of vehicles that can be towed.
• Provide services that are not included or provided by your company.
• Ability to post signage on town property (24/7 towing at owners expense).
• Please provide proof of insurance.
• Please state the terms of the agreement and any penalties for early termination.
• If there are other services that you or your company provides beyond towing, please provide a list of those services as an addendum and any possible costs.

Opening of RFP’s will take place at the regular scheduled town council meeting on 5/23/2024 at 6:30 pm, Town Hall, 206 Buck Street, Stevensville, MT 59870
